Degree:
geography; or related physical or social science such as geology, meteorology, economics, statistics, sociology, anthropology, political science, history, cartography, computer science, urban studies, or planning that included at least 24 semester hours in geography or related fields. OR Combination of education and
Experience:
courses equivalent to a major in geography, or a related field that included at least 24 semester hours in geography or related fields, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-11 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors which demonstrates:
Advanced skillset in Esri desktop and enterprise geospatial software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal); tools (Web Map Applications, Operations Dashboards, Python scripting, Model Builder, Custom Geoprocessing Tools); and related enterprise data storage systems (SQL Server). Creates web-based GIS dashboards and related web map applications in enterprise geospatial software (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal), using real time surveillance and operational data to inform decision making in support of plant health programs. Plan, coordinate, and deliver geospatial products and applications to plant health program stakeholders including outreach documentation, presentation briefings, and job aids. Note:

This position requires specific coursework or a degree in a specific field to be basically qualified. This education must have been successfully completed and obtained from an accredited school, college, or university. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
