Experience:
Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience must be described for each grade level advertised. At the GS-11:
Qualifying experience for GS-11 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-09 which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience preparing vacancy announcements; determining eligibility and qualifications of applicants; coding or reviewing personnel actions; responding to HR-related inquiries from customers; and utilizing automated staffing systems such as USA Staffing, Monster, QuickHire, Avue, LinkedIn, Indeed, or other similar systems. OR Education:
completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Examples of related disciplines that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the work of this position include Human Resources Administration, Human Resources Management, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. OR A combination of education and experience as described above At the GS-12:
Qualifying experience for GS-12 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-11 which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is experience preparing vacancy announcements; determining eligibility and qualifications of applicants; coding or reviewing the full range of personnel actions; responding to HR-related inquiries from customers; utilize automated staffing systems such as USA Staffing, Monster, QuickHire, Avue, LinkedIn, Indeed, or other similar systems; and providing human resources advisory services to employees and managers regarding staffing and recruitment, classification and position management. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
