Schneider Electric Smart Infrastructure has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Manager of Implementation Specialists in our Fort Collins, CO location. As a key member of the Enterprise GIS Delivery group within the Global Solutions - Cloud vertical, the Manager of Implementation Specialists will drive the management, administration and execution of software implementation activities related to solution delivery to our client base. Enterprise GIS Delivery is the Professional Services arm in Schneider Electric for Utility GIS solution implementation Working closely alongside managers within Client Services and the GIS business unit at large, the Manager of Implementation Specialists will direct a group of Implementation Specialists to deliver standardized, quality-controlled custom software.
Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and guide all members of the Implementation Specialist team.
- Provide leadership, strategy, administration, and governance for theImplementation Specialistteam; its program, process, procedures, and personnel.
- Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve personal and collective team goals in accordance with established policies.
- The position is responsible to help define and evolve best practices with regards to the design, development and maintenance of custom software used by Schneider Electric Utility Group clients.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with object-oriented programming, .NET development, good problem-solving skills, and be comfortable interacting with clients, direct reports, business partners.
- Skills and knowledge to lead a team focused on the requirements definition, data model design, software configuration, test plan development, execution of acceptance testing and general software support.
- Manage implementation specialists for an array of project types and sizes.
- Handle staffing assignments and resource allocation planning for the Implementation Specialist team, and in support of the larger Enterprise GIS Delivery group.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with key partner organizations, namely Esri.
- Lead in the growth and evolution of theImplementation Services practice; collectively the set of standards, best practices, process and procedures that provides for efficient, effective and quality custom software development across many projects.
- Adhere-to and complete project tracking and reporting in both formal (use of corporate systems) and informal means.
- Determine new tools and methods to improve operational effectiveness.
- Liaison and collaborate with managers and team leaders with the Sales, Product, Product Management, Proposals, and Support groups for cross-functional efficiencies and strategic plans.
- Support proposal development and authoring at the request of the Proposals team
Requirements
- BA (MA preferred) in computer science, engineering, geography, business, management or related discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in software implementation management/supervision, project management.
- Understanding and skilled demonstration of project management practices (managing scope, scale, and budget).
- 2 - 5 years of experience managing end-user applications and interfaces in a .NET environment. C# software coding experience is preferred.
- 2 - 5 years' experience managing end-user applications and interfaces with an object oriented programming language.
- 2 - 5 years' experience with commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server required.
- Experience developing solutions that include any of the following technologies: , HTML, HTML5, C#, , ESRI, ArcObjects.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Strong foundation in technical writing.
- Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite of tools / applications
- Experience with ArcGIS and other Esri products a plus
- Professional/educational background in GIS or related field a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and an ability to multitask
- Occasional travel, as required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
