Research Associate II Website and Database Developer 13-139 The Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at Colorado State University (CSU) seeks to fill a Research Associate II position to support its collaborative air quality research with the National Park Service (NPS) in Fort Collins, Colorado. CIRA and the NPS are collaborating to acquire and import a variety of data to support air quality modeling and analysis and to manage these data in a common repository (or data warehouse) that is accessible from the web. The source data and analysis results managed by the warehouse will be used by the USDA Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the three states of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming to study the impacts to air quality in protected Federal lands by the oil and gas development being conducted in the three-state region. The software developer to be hired for this position will assist with the design, development, and operation of the database, website, and software systems that comprise this Three State Data Warehouse, and will be expected to collaborate with existing team members and project partners to assess design requirements, develop task plans, assign priorities, and develop the various warehouse components using a best practices approach and by leveraging existing database and software infrastructure.
