The appointment includes teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Criminal Justice.
Other duties include participation in departmental program assessment and service to the department and University.
Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching through the integration of the Christian faith and learning.
Pay RangeThe compensation for this appointment will range from $55,000 - $62,500 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment.
Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, as well as market conditions.

QualificationsThe successful candidate should possess at least a master's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
Preference will be given to those with a history of quality teaching and mentoring students in research.
Teaching ResponsibilitiesTeaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in Criminal Justice.
Faculty will also contribute to the success of the department by participating in service including course-level and program-level assessment, student advising, and supporting department and University events.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
