Responsibilities:
Work under the general direction of the practice manager Admit patients Create medical charts, either electronically or paper, based on center practice Work with the clinical staff to schedule patients and ensure that the center's work flow efficiently runs Answer and direct all incoming calls Utilize problem-solving skills to support center and colleagues for resolution of issues Update and manage center calendar Monitor patient wait times and work with staff to provide non-clinical assistance when they are running behind Be familiar with procedure codes Know daily deposit amounts and make reports as requested Plan and manage dental business operations to ensure excellent patient support services.
Explain treatment plans to patients and present payment schedules with patients Ensure that patient appointments, cancellations and last-minute adjustments are handled property Respond to patient queries and Doctor's needs to ensure patient satisfaction Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards Oversee daily office activities and provide direction and guidance to staff as needed Manage specialist referral process Assist in training, developing and managing staff to meet performance standards Assist in employee performance evaluation, promotion, termination, and retention activities Identify areas of improvements and concerns and implement appropriate corrective actions Oversee staff scheduling as to ensure full coverage Organize and oversee supply purchases Maintain patient data according to regulations and company policies Ensure that records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy and security regulations Adhere to all HIPAA regulations Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the dental office All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Dental practice experience required Previous experience working patient admissions, insurance billing and collections reports Previous experience scheduling medical appointments and treatment plans Previous Leadership experience a plus Excellent time management and organization skills Patient focused Positive attitude and someone who foster's an environment that thrives on teamwork and creating a safe and healthy work space for staff.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
