IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ!!!!!!! The facility location in which this role is based is located near CARBONDALE, CO. HOWEVER, the facility offers FREE ONSITE ACCOMEDATIONS FOR THE EMPLOYEE FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR SHIFTS (no pets, children/family, or smoking are allowed in the free employer-provided accommodations). These are incredibly comfortable, private, clean & well-maintained studios & 1 bedroom units with either full kitchens or kitchenettes, full private bathrooms, queen beds, cable TV, and wifi. Please do not apply if your lifestyle is not conducive to being out of town consistently for 6 days in a row OR if you are not interested in permanently relocating to the area. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of complex diagnostic procedures. This is a full-time, permanent night shift position, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. If you're a professional with a strong technical background, who can stay calm under pressure and is eager to make a real difference in patients' lives, we would love to hear from you.As a CT Technologist, your core responsibilities will include:
1. Performing high-quality CT scans in accordance with established protocols and procedures.2. Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear instructions, and responding to their needs.3. Maintaining accurate patient records, including diagnostic information and relevant medical history.4. Collaborating with radiologists to evaluate images and determine the need for additional scans.5. Assisting in the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.6. Maintaining and operating CT equipment, performing quality control checks, and reporting any malfunctions promptly.7. Participating in continuous education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CT technology.8. Adhering to all safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following:
1. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.2. A valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a specialty in Computed Tomography (CT).3. Proficiency in using modern CT equipment and software, with a strong understanding of CT procedures and protocols.4.
