Obligates and processes payments in an automated financial management system and determines status of funds.
Maintains automated expenditure and related databases, reconciling daily obligations and payments.
Researches and resolves any discrepancies and prepares the necessary documentation to effect adjustments.
Assists with fiscal year end closeout activities by maintaining current operating balances to ensure individual accounts are closed within established guidelines.
Responds to a variety of substantive requests for program, budget, and statistical information.
Monitors a variety of functions, such as, but not limited to:
charge card default accounts, monthly invoices and payments processed, biweekly billing cycles, and standard voucher adjustments.
Receives purchase orders, expenditures, and similar documents for obligation against authorized funds, appropriated and reimbursable.
Serves as payroll specialist advising employees on time and attendance procedures and regulations.
Assists employees with the use of automated time and attendance system.
Serves as a travel specialist advising employees on travel procedures and regulations, including use of government owned or lease vehicles.
Operates a government owned/leased vehicle as an incidental driver.
