STATEMENT OF DUTIES General Statement Of Duties:
Performs administrative assistant work in the Colorado Judicial Department.
Distinguishing Factors:
Positions in this classification perform a variety of skilled administrative assistant responsibilities, and will perform a full range of functions, operating with minimal supervision upon reaching the master range of compensation plan.
May require occasional travel.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS This is an entry level position requiring excellent customer service, computer, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
There is some variety in the performance of assigned work procedures.
Assignments may include a combination of clerical and receptionist functions.
Provides routine clerical support to clients, administrative staff, probation officers and probation supervisors.
The stated salary range represents entry level through maximum compensation for the position.
Salary offers are based on a wide variety of factors including a candidate's experience and skills as well as budget availability.
All new employees are, however, hired at the lower end of this range.
Salary growth within the job classification is based on performance awards and salary survey increases.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for one's own work product and may provide leadership, guidance, assistance, or mentorship to coworkers, volunteers, or interns.
This may include scheduling of work, instructing in work methods, and reviewing work products for up to three other staff, but should not consume more than 50% of the incumbent's working time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education:
Graduation from high school or GED.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high precarious places.
