Maintenance/CapEx Manager - Fort Collins, COThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance functions related to the grounds, facility, and all production equipment.
This position must have excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
The position requires solid technical knowledge as well as the ability to think and plan proactively.
The maintenance manager will direct and oversee all daily maintenance functions including the assignment of work tasks, the MRO stock room, the maintenance management system, administrative functions, and budget compliance.
The position reports directly to the Director of Production.
This position will require several hours/day of actual production floor time to assess, evaluate, and assist in problem resolution.
The position will also identify, evaluate, and scope areas of the operation that require CapEx spending.
This position will manage CapEx execution and financial planning for capital expenses.
Responsibilities:
Oversee, manage, and direct all maintenance procedures and operations Identify improvement opportunities and create relationships with outside vendors to provide maintenance support Ensure all machinery is up to working standards Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.
) Manage the Preventive Maintenance program to plan work and prevent breakdowns Oversee building, grounds, and all equipment repair work Participate in capital project teams, support engineering including equipment evaluations, layouts, and startups.
Create and manage the Capital plan and spend for the facility Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures Create a work environment with safety as a high priority Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work Record and track daily progress/error reports Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed Create and adhere to maintenance budgets Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol Support EHS needs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Technical degree or BS in engineering a plus 5
years relevant experience in maintenance Experience in bottling/canning required Previous managerial experience highly preferred General knowledge of electrical, controls and PLC's a plus Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities Always makes safety a priority Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software Experience with a MMS software a plus.
