Summary:
Works directly with the Retail Facilities Manager to execute the day-to-day facility needs.
Works with the Manager of Retail Operations and store construction teams on coordinating the projects aligned to the retail division including new stores, remodels, relocations, acquisitions and closing stores.
Maintains relationships and coordinates work with facilities vendors on behalf of the retail company owned stores.
Must thrive in a challenging and fast paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm.
Exceptional attention to detail and first-class organizational skills are mandatory.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervises maintenance and repair programs for all Retail division facilities.
Evaluate our vendor diversity selection process and maintain or improve upon current hiring goals.
Coordination of contractors and suppliers, including, but not limited to, construction, security, cleaners, landscapers, movers, painters, electricians, and other trades.
Oversee facility refurbishment and renovation, to include new stores, remodels and store requirements.
Assures security of the facility.
Be a strong liaison between the facilities department and real estate & construction for seamless new store openings and remodel projects.
Responsible for administration of prices and/or contracts with vendors and suppliers, as necessary.
Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
Manages and reviews service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
Design and seek approval for company-wide new preventative maintenance program for all retail stores.
Provide a single point of contact for Retail operations vendors for questions, answers, and project schedule updates.
Verifies payment and invoicing match contract pricing.
Assist Manager of Retail Operations in assembling background information on various projects and potential suppliers.
Continually seek opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies in areas of responsibility.
Responds timely and appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
Including 24 / 7 and weekend availability.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
The person in this position manages a budget of +/- $ 6,000,000, all store level management, MSM's, HRM's, IT, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Store Design and Construction, Visuals, Sustainability, 3rd party vendors, material suppliers, landlords, property managers while overseeing supply purchasing for all 180 (and counting) Retail locations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, with 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

years supervisory/leadership experience.
Knowledge of:
Contracts, Lease Terms, Legalese.
Basic repair terminology and functions for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Energy Management, LEED certification requirements.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and excellent project management skills.
Up to 25% travel.
