Successful new staff members may be eligible for training as direct care staff, including paid CNA training and QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel); Elderhaus provides First Aid/CPR training Position Description Safely transport individuals living with dementia, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other needs to and from their places of residence and Elderhaus Assist clients to and from their front door as needed; assist with loading and unloading passengers; assist clients to and from the parking lot and inside the Elderhaus facility; keep vehicle in line of sight at all times when participants are on board Complete paperwork for mileage; sign clients in and out; ensure and document vehicle safety Follow all Elderhaus employee policies and procedures Report any incidents and complete incident report if required (verify with management) Job Requirements Valid driver's license (does NOT require CDL) Pass background checks Ability to physically assist clients as needed Reliable and safe Schedule Morning routes run from approximately 7:
00 to 9:
00 am Afternoon routes run from approximately 2:

45 pm Work week is Monday through Friday; however, we are willing to negotiate a flexible schedule for qualified candidates, such as mornings only or afternoons only, or certain days of the week if not available all five days every week Mandatory monthly staff meetings (typically 4:
30 pm to 6:
00 pm on first or second Tuesday of each month) and periodic training events General Employee Expectations Willingness and ability to work with adults living with dementia and other needs Willingness to learn and to accept direction while working in harmony with staff and participants Stamina, patience, tolerance, with an attitude of concern, kindness, respect Reliable and prompt; attention to detail in order to comply with policies and procedures Personal conduct that enhances the overall professionalism of Elderhaus Willingness to learn and improve professionally Job Types:
