Quick Apply Full-time 5 days ago Full Job Description POSITION SUMMARY NITROcrete, a Cryogenic Industrial Solutions company, is looking for a Field Operations Technician to join our team in Fort Collins, CO to support customer sites throughout the USA.
NITROcrete provides innovative concrete temperature control technology to the ready-mix concrete industry.
The Field Operations Technician is responsible for the safe and timely installation, maintenance, service, and calibration of NITROcrete Systems and/or Industrial Gas Systems across the USA.
Technicians ensure the proper function of systems while maintaining excellent communication with HQ, regional management, and customers.
This position will require 100% travel during peak summer months (Mar-Oct) and intermittent travel of 50% during winter months with supplemental shop work in Fort Collins, CO ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES An employee must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Perform and supervise the installation and service of NITROcrete and/or Industrial Gas systems at customer locations Accommodate and work with customer's site configuration as part of installation Weld and/or braze cryogenic piping and systems as needed Resolve issues and problem-solve during installation and maintenance of NITROcrete and/or Industrial Gas systems Observe, test and verify the installation meets specifications Assist in calibrating and commissioning new systems Understand and follow project scopes and timelines Conduct job safety analysis prior to installation and ensure safe work procedures are followed throughout each project Provide customer support after installation to troubleshoot, service and maintain the system Support and supervise contractors as they install or perform work on NITROcrete and/or Industrial Gas systems Read, understand and follow equipment installation instructions and wiring schematics Support other areas of the parent company business as needed, including nitrogen pumping Create, update and manage service tickets Locally source materials and supplies, such as tools.
Equipment, or replacement prats when required Assist in the fabricating, assembling and repair of NITROcrete and/or Industrial Gas system components out of the Colorado factory as needed Adherence to all company policies including professionalism and safe work practices Perform duties outdoor in extreme weather conditions, particularly extreme heat SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May indirectly supervise less experienced technicians or contractors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-5 years' experience in ready-mix production/maintenance, construction, industrial gas/ cryogenics or related field.
Core Competencies Clean Safety record Must be willing to travel as needed (up to 75%).
This entails travel across the US via company vehicle and airline.
Mechanical, plumbing and/or electrical experience preferred TIG welding and copper brazing experience preferred Must be willing to travel irregular hours when required TIG welding and copper brazing experience preferred Ability to guide, direct and lead others Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work in small teams, and independently and efficiently with little supervision Basic computer knowledge required (email (Gmail), Microsoft office, etc) Valid passport highly preferred or ability to obtain on within 3 months of hire Language Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to calculate volume.
Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills Ability to use a laptop MS Office Software, and Internet Software Job Type:
