Full Benefits This position is eligible for up to a $2,500 signing bonus.
The Painter (Structural Trades II) position provides maintenance, repair, and installation of wall, ceiling, flooring, and other surface painting.
While the primary focus of this position will be painting, installations of other surface finishes such as drywall textures, flooring, tile, wood, paper, etc.
may be required as well as staining and finishing of cabinetry, casework, doors, and other wood surfaces as needed.
This position will have direct interface with customers (residents), HDS Facilities staff, and University Housing leadership.
The position will assist, support, and lead staff in developing solutions and outlining work plans for specified painting and refinishing projects and/or maintenance programs as required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Four years of progressively responsible experience in the Painting trade appropriate to the work assignment (painting, drywall texturing and patching, staining, refinishing).

On-call Status - Includes weekend coverage and emergency situations.
