Summary:
The Facilities Technician will maintain efficient and smooth operation of the physical jobsite by supporting and maintaining the facility, including minor building maintenance, and improvements.
Projects within the facility include general maintenance, minor plumbing, maintaining/replacing lights and light switches, low and high voltage wiring, other small electrical work, basic equipment maintenance, general construction including painting and cleaning, installing project boards, and cleaning/organizing areas.
Technical Duties:
Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
Follows all safety standards throughout facility.
