This is an entry-level to mid-level a multi-role position involving a dynamic mix of technical customer support, software testing, video recorder assembly and product documentation for our industry-leading LineVision geospatial video software suite and geoDVR GPS video/audio recording systems.
The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic curiosity for all things computers and new technologies, with a particular interest in understanding video and mapping systems.
Most of all you must possess a desire to learn and grow with Remote GeoSystems.

Ideally, the selected candidate for this position will become a valued internal/external domain expert in Remote GeoSystems-developed software and hardware solutions as well as complementary 3rd-party software, hardware, cameras, and other sensors with which we integrate.
Additionally, this position is an opportunity to advance within the company and to take on additional technical and/or product responsibilities and roles as appropriate in the future.
Position Requirements:
Candidates will ideally have an undergraduate degree or an associates degree (with job experience) in a technical discipline with strong emphasis in computers, software, GIS, engineering, mathematical or other technical subject matter.
We will also consider applicants who have successfully completed a reputable and relevant technology boot camp program and those with significant on-the-job technical QA or IT/software support-related experience in lieu of a technical education.
Previous experience in a technical support position or other computer/technology-related job experience.
Experience and/or some coursework in software development and/or professional video/photo equipment usage and editing software.
Solid administrative-level experience with Windows operating systems.
Experience or strong interest in building custom Windows / Linux computers.
Experience working with ESRI ArcGIS or other GIS/GPS mapping software a plus but not required.
Experience working with WordPress web content management systems and plug-ins a plus but not required.
Experience working with all-in-one CRM/email/marketing automation systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Ontraport, etc.

Good writing and information organization skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel occasionally for tradeshows, customer training and support efforts.

Position Duties &
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot technical product issues from external customers as well as internal team members.
Quality Assurance testing for software and recorder hardware.
Report, track and help determine priorities for bugs and feature enhancements.
Keep software/hardware documentation updated using appropriate online/offline documentation tools and procedures.
Work with product/project managers and software engineers to develop and document procedures for testing Remote GeoSystems geospatial software/hardware products.
Assemble and test geoDVR video recorder hardware.
Participate in product and special-interest user forums offering support and suggestions around using Remote GeoSystems products for existing users and prospective customers.
Support technical sales efforts such as researching and suggesting integrated and custom solutions for various client project requirements.
Assist with technical marketing efforts such as maintaining electronic assets and communications such as websites, CRM/marketing automation tools, blogs and social media updates.
This is a local in-office position based in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
No relocation assistance is provided.
